On October I had a trip from Hong Kong to Ukraine and I flew with Qatar Airways. So on the way to go and on the way back I got couple of hours layover in Doha. Just a few years back Doha Hamad International Airport opened a new terminal. This big modern building offers plenty of activities to keep you busy, just don’t miss your flight.

You can do shopping right here. Among many luxury shops I found some with smaller price tags. Qatar Duty Free is my choice for sweets and Arabic gifts for family and friends. Stop by at the food court or sit and enjoy in one of the many restaurants or cafes. Browse internet on Mac computers at designated areas for free or connect to airport WiFi on your device. But here is the catch - internet is complimentary but it’s very slow and lose connection once you move.

For those who have continued transit, Qatar Airways offers free of charge 3 hours tour of Doha. I’ve never done it before but it’s definitely on a list for my next stopover.

As well (extra charge for economy class) you can get into lounges, go swimming or use quick shower, relax at the spa or hit the gym.
